alias pail is a duo consisting of bryan doring (guitar, vocals, keyboards, electronics, sampler, percussion) and james corrigan (keyboards, percussion, vocals, programming).
bryan and james create a dense world of sounds that draw from disjointed sources. african and industrial rhythms co-mingle while 80's pop synths morph into the electronic experiments of krautrock, disco and then again into pure and open minimalism. these ideas are woven into a seamless tapestry of concise songs. They plan on expanding the band to eventually add another vocalist and more acoustic percussion. |
